The JPMorgan Life Japan 50 Equity Fund (the “Fund”) is a pooled life fund for pension schemes investing primarily in Japanese equities either directly or through other funds. Normally the Fund only invests in equities issued by companies that are listed in Japan. The Fund seeks to achieve excess return through stock selection. The Fund is concentrated in approximately 40-65 stocks, however it is well diversified across a large number of industry sectors. Under normal circumstances, the Fund is fully invested, with cash holdings kept to a minimum.
