How do you improve your figures against your peers?

Simple - Jump ship from the UK All Companies sector to Specialist! All of a sudden, the figures look moderate!

IMC1984 Feb 04th, 2014 at 10:57 AM

Is there really still £20m left in this fund?

I must say, that some of the shares actually appear to have done quite well (Blinkx, Eros, etc), so I ask myself the question, how is the price continuing to suffer?

I would encourage anyone still invested to look closely at the annual turnover of stock within the fund and then reach the sensible conclusion. How this fund retains regulation is beyond me.

Time to hang up your hat.

Mr Manek is bottom of every league table! Perhaps he could tell us via this forum what his plan to do better for his investors is or is he just living off the fund management fees?

mark shilston Oct 30th, 2013 at 09:54 AM

What an absolute dog of a fund I hung on far too long but am so glad I finally saw sense and got out.Yet Mr Manek is still making good money from running a fund that my cat could beat.

how can I check what my investment is doing

IMC1984 Feb 24th, 2014 at 10:25 AM

It's doing badly. Trust me

arenicola Sep 30th, 2013 at 10:55 AM

Check the share price and multiply it by the number of shares you have!

trying hard Sep 07th, 2013 at 05:13 PM

Mr Manek how can you face your investors with a performance that be carried out by a 5 year old with a better outcome

arenicola May 31st, 2013 at 05:49 PM

Should be called Manek Shrink Fund. Growth is a misnomer. My investment of £14K is now worth £4K.

PAT May 30th, 2013 at 03:24 PM

I invested in 2000 and have seen my savings depleted away. Blinkx the top holding has just delivered me 150% in the last 5 years so Mr Manek needs to realise we are not fools!

wwjd_andy Mar 20th, 2013 at 07:36 PM

Why are you all so negative? This is a highly uncorrelated fund (R2 = 0.02 over 1 & 3 years), and the top 10 selection is a useful check list of stocks you should sell. ;)

Can't believe there is still £20M in this fund

Stephen Edwards Jan 17th, 2013 at 06:33 PM

This fund has given me depression absolutely shocking performance If there was a revolution manek would be in the top five to stand agaist the wall

trebor Oct 17th, 2012 at 03:25 PM

In view of Manek's performance over the last few years, the only hope for a rise in Manek investment is world economic depression. I am deeply disappointed in 10 yes 10 year performance. trebor
