Offer for subscription of new ordinary shares of 5p each ("New Ordinary Shares") to raise up to £30million ("the Offer")




Amati VCT 2 plc ("the Company") announces an allotment on 21 November 2011 of 890,566 New Ordinary Shares pursuant to the Offer. The Offer price at which the New Ordinary Shares were allotted was 105.63p per share, which was calculated by reference to the net asset value of an Ordinary Share on 17 November 2011 with an appropriate adjustment for the performance fee payable based on the net asset value at that date, divided by 0.95 (to allow for issue costs of 5.0 per cent).


Following the allotment, the total number of Ordinary Shares in issue is 28,114,927 with voting rights.


Dealings in the New Ordinary Shares are expected to commence on or around 28 November 2011.  CREST accounts are expected to be credited within five business days of allotment and definitive documents of title are expected to be dispatched within ten business days of allotment.
