Soc Gen appoints Darbyshire

Soci+®t+® G+®n+®rale Corporate & Investment Banking has appointed Christopher Darbyshire as managing director of cross asset solutions sales for UK insurance and pension funds clients. The firm said it wants to develop its offering to the sector.

Darbyshire will manage relationships with UK insurance and pension fund clients, working with Scott Eason in his strategic advisory role. He will report to Eric Viet, co-head of institutional investors, insurance and pension funds, and Marc El-Asmar, co-head of European cross asset solutions sales.

Before joining the French bank, Darbyshire worked in structured solutions at Goldman Sachs and BNP Paribas.
