Prospective Board Changes
Aurora Investment Trust is pleased to announce that Lord Flight of Worcester and the Honourable James Nelson have agreed to become directors of the Company. They will take up their appointments on 18 July 2011, after the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on that date.
As indicated in the Company's annual report for the year ended 28 February 2011, Mr Hammond-Chambers will step down as chairman at the AGM. Howard Flight will then become a director and take over as chairman.
Mr Robinson has also announced his intention to retire from the Board and not seek re-election as a director at the forthcoming AGM, in view of other commitments. James Nelson will then become a director, effectively replacing Mr Robinson.
The Company is delighted that two such knowledgeable and experienced directors have agreed to join the Board. A further announcement will be made to confirm that the appointments have come into effect and to provide additional details.
