The  Board of Albion Venture Capital Trust VCT PLC wishes to announce that it is
considering  plans, in conjunction with the Boards  of six other VCTs managed by
Albion  Ventures LLP, to launch a linked top  up offer of new shares in November
2011.



The  Albion VCTs Linked Top up Offer 2011/2012 is aiming to raise up to £15m, of
which Albion Venture Capital Trust VCT PLC's share will be approximately £2.25m.
The  proceeds will be used to provide further  resources at a time when a number
of attractive investment opportunities are being seen.



A  more detailed announcement regarding  the formal launch of  the offer will be
made  in  November  2011 and  at  that  time,  an offer document will be sent to
shareholders.
