David Mitchinson, vice president, is a Japan specialist within the Pacific Regional Group based in Hong Kong and a member of the JF Japan Team. He joined the firm in 2004 and transferred from Tokyo to Hong Kong in 2010. Previously, he spent six years at Framlington Investment Management initially as an Asian equity analyst, and for the last three years as a Japanese equities fund manager. He was also responsible for Japan elements of International Growth, EAFE, Pension and Sector funds (Financial and Technology). David obtained a B.A. in economics from Cambridge University and is also a CFA charterholder.
