Manager profile

Richard Buxton is the Head of UK Equities, based in London. He is the Manager of Specialist UK equity portfolios and the Schroder UK Alpha Plus Fund. Joined Schroders in September 2001 as Head of the Specialist UK Equity team. He was also UK equity manager at Baring Asset Management from 1990 following one year at GRE Asset Management. Investment career commenced in 1985 at Brown Shipley Asset Management as a fixed income and equity investment manager. Richard Buxton graduated from Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford with a Degree (First Class Hons) in English Language and Literature.
