Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (SWIP) has appointed Roger Webb as investment director, corporate bonds.

He will work on various corporate bond products based in SWIP’s Edinburgh Office, and report to head of credit Neil Murray. Murray said: "Roger’s appointment represents an important step in the strengthening and development of our corporate bond business. We look forward to welcoming him to the team and anticipate making further appointments over the coming months to further progress our established bond offering." Webb joins from Aviva Investors where he in charge of a team of nine as head of credit portfolio management. Before this he was a credit portfolio manager at Norwich Union for almost ten years, where he managed a wide range of mandates across investment grade and high yield.
