David joined S&F in 2000 after spending 18 years at Mercury Asset Management where he was the Chief Investment Officer of the global private client team and the International Investment Officer of the charity team. Previously he was an investment manager at the Bank of New York for 3 years and at Kitcat & Aitken for 13 years where he was a partner. David is a member of the Chartered Financial Analysts' Institute and a fellow of the Securities Institute. He is a Trustee of a number of charities.
