FE Trustnet verdict
Overall, performing better than the peer group composite. Over a long track record, the manager has outperformed the peer group more often than not. Stockpicking has made a contribution to results, which have not been particularly exposed to falling markets.
Manager profile
Robert joined Jupiter’s US Equities team in 2014. Prior to this he worked at F&C Management for more than 10 years where he managed over £500m in assets including the F&C US Smaller Companies Investment Trust and the F&C US Smaller Companies Fund. Robert also worked for Gartmore Investment Management between 1992 and 2000, spending five years as Head of US Equities. He gained an MA degree in Chemistry from Oxford University.

Performance vs peer group composite: Robert Siddles
How a manager matches up against his peers gives you some idea of how talented he is. Very few managers perform equally well in rising and falling markets, so knowing which type of market a manager is capable of performing well within is also important.
