Tom Wilson has been appointed co-manager of the £768m Schroder Prime UK Equity fund.
He will work alongside co-manager James Goodman and Schroders’ head of UK equities Sue Noffke.
Chris Taylor, head of pan European equities at Schroders, said: “Tom’s investment philosophy is closely aligned with the prime team’s style-neutral approach.
“Combined with his experience across multiple investment cycles, his skillset will complement the existing team and enhance the ongoing delivery of outperformance across different market environments.”
Wilson joins the firm with 18 years of investment experience across multiple geographies and strategies, most recently operating as a fund manager at Newton Investment Management. He also previously held fund management roles at Insight Investment and F&C Investments.
Wilson is now part of a team comprising 11 UK equity investors which has more than 250 years in combined investment experience and oversees £16.4bn in assets under management as of 30 September 2025.
