How Brexit will affect key UK sectors: Trustnet Magazine is out now!

20 June 2016

June’s edition of Trustnet Magazine weighs up the prospects for a number of key UK sectors for either outcome of Thursday’s referendum.

Many of you are likely to be sick of hearing about the EU referendum already. And while it is difficult to offer any insight on the subject without alienating either the “in” or “out” camps, Cherry Reynard has attempted to take an unbiased approach in this month’s cover story of Trustnet Magazine, weighing up the prospects for a number of key UK sectors for either outcome of the vote.

The referendum isn’t the only major Europe-related event taking place this summer. The European Championship is already well underway, offering the chance for football-mad journalists to mix business with pleasure. Adam Lewis draws parallels between putting together a football team and the ideal portfolio, while Anthony Luzio finds out how it is possible for a Premier League footballer earning £44,000 a week to run out of money. Under the circumstances, it would seem odd if this month’s sector focus didn’t fall on IA Europe ex UK.

In our usual columns, Trustnet Direct’s John Blowers explains why we need to rethink the way we access our retirement savings, F&C’s Tom Wilson unearths three stocks he thinks are unappreciated by the market, while Momentum’s Andrew Hardy reveals which fund he is using to access high growth stocks such as the “FANGs” which dominated the US last year.

As always, Trustnet Magazine is totally free – either click here to begin reading or download a PDF by clicking here.
