Helen Steers, long-serving partner and co-lead manager of Pantheon International (PIN), will retire at the end of 2025 after more than two decades at the firm.

Her successor is Charlotte Morris, who has served as co-lead manager since June 2024 and will now assume full responsibility for the portfolio.

Matthew Read, senior analyst at QuotedData said Steers has been “instrumental” in shaping Pantheon over the past decade, bringing her “long-term vision and deep market insight to the helm”.

“This transition has clearly been planned for and Morris’s appointment as manager feels like a natural progression.”

Morris is a partner in Pantheon’s global secondaries team with nearly 20 years of experience, having previously held roles on the firm’s secondaries investment and sustainability oversight committees.

Her expertise in secondaries – which is considered a growing segment within private markets – has been identified as a strong strategic fit for the trust’s future direction.

The transition will be supported throughout the rest of this year by Pantheon’s global investment platform of 131 professionals, with key contributors to the trust’s broader positioning continuing in their roles, including head of sustainability Eimear Palmer.

“With the backing of a seasoned investment team and Pantheon’s global platform, the trust looks well placed to continue delivering on its strategy,” Read concluded.
