Veteran manager Nick Kirrage has joined Brown Advisory to lead two new equity strategies: Brown Advisory Global Value and Brown Advisory International Value.
The firm has also announced it is assembling an investment team to support him in the role.
Kirrage left Schroders in July after 23 years with the firm, most recently as head of the global value team and co-manager of the Schroder Income fund. Following his departure, Hargreaves Lansdown dropped the strategy from its Wealth Shortlist.
The manager said: “As a private, independent, colleague-owned firm, Brown Advisory has a culture that shares the long-term mindset crucial to value investing and attracting the best talent” and added that the opportunities across global and international value are “considerable”.
Logie Fitzwilliams, co-CEO and partner at Brown Advisory, said Kirrage “joins at a time when we are seeing increasing appetite from our clients for concentrated global and international value strategies, and we believe that he is the best person to lead these two new strategies for the firm”.
