AJ Bell has appointed Hilary Winn as investments director, Nellis Kromhout as senior portfolio manager and Guilherme Pampolin as research analyst, strengthening its investment strategy, fund research and portfolio management capabilities.
Winn joins in a newly created role and will lead investment strategy and asset allocation across AJ Bell's multi-asset portfolios. She reports to Ryan Hughes, managing director at AJ Bell Investments.
She joins from Mercer, where she was investment director, working on asset allocation and portfolio management for the private wealth business. She previously served as investment director at JLT Group, responsible for private client and institutional investment mandates.
Kromhout joins as senior portfolio manager, adding to AJ Bell's Partnership MPS proposition. He will help deliver bespoke MPS solutions for adviser firms and support the proposition's growth.
He was most recently at Standard Life, where he was a senior research specialist. He previously spent more than 10 years at Atomos, formerly Sanlam, managing MPS portfolios and leading fund research.
Pampolin has been appointed research analyst, strengthening the team's coverage of active funds. He joins from Titan Square Mile, where he researched equity and fixed income funds.
