Sahil Shaikh has been poached from Lombard Odier to join Aviva Investors as a multi-asset portfolio manager.
Shaikh will assume co-manager responsibilities on a number of funds across Aviva’s multi-asset core and core plus fund ranges.
With 15 years of industry experience, Shaikh joins the firm’s existing 40-strong multi-asset team and will report to Sotirios Nakos, head of multi-asset portfolio management.
Nakos said: “He brings with him a vast amount of industry knowledge and experience, which I believe will effectively complement the existing expertise within the multi-asset portfolio management team.”
Shaikh has previously held portfolio management positions at Lombard Odier and M&G and has also worked as an analyst at Fulcrum Asset Management.
