If you're reading this article, you'll have noticed that there have been some big changes to how FE Trustnet looks and feels.
Over the past few months, the team behind FE Trustnet has overhauled the website in several different ways to streamline its design and to give you a much better experience - while continuing to offer you detailed investment analysis and the market-leading data resources of the wider FE business.
One of the biggest changes is moving over to a responsive website so the viewing experience is optimised no matter if you're reading from a desktop computer, laptop, tablet or mobile phone.
You'll see from this page that we've enhanced the design to present news and research articles in a much clearer way. We're also publishing the articles on a single scrolling page, meaning you'll no longer have to click between multiple pages to read the full piece.
Fund factsheets have been changed to match the streamlined style of the website. All the information you need when researching funds is still included, but now this comprehensive data is presented in a way that is much cleaner and easier to digest.
We’ve also changed how we treat the core universes of UK Unit Trust and OEICs and IA Unit Trust and OEICs; more information on that can be found here.
Not all the changes to FE Trustnet have been cosmetic - we've also been busy behind the scenes to improve the user experience for our readers. For example, you'll notice that the website is faster - especially when searching for specific pieces of information.
Linked to this, we made changes to our archive that will benefit your research experience. All articles now have content tags at the bottom of the page and clicking on those tags will take you to an archive full of that specific content, whether it be market areas like UK equities, specific topics such as investment trusts and even article types like galleries.
All the changes are being rolled out across the most popular areas of FE Trustnet from today, with further enhancements to follow over the next few months.
We hope you continue to enjoy using FE Trustnet at the heart of your fund research.
All the best,
Gary Jackson,
Editor, FE Trustnet
