Fundswire launched

Fundswire is an automated announcements service, designed to highlight changes affecting funds investments and investors. It is the only capital events and corporate actions announcements service for unit trusts, OEICs and investment trusts.

Data driven announcements from the database behind Trustnet will sit alongside articles direct from fund providers, commentary from Trustnet and announcements from the London Stock Exchange (LSE), helping make Fundswire a one stop shop for information from the funds industry.

Fundswire will publish a wide range of information including:

• Any major changes to fund composition, management, performance or charges
• News of new fund launches, mergers or closures
• Corporate news, views and other announcements direct from the UK asset management industry

Available free of charge, Fundswire is aimed at financial advisers, asset managers and allocators, institutional investors, and high net worth individual investors. It also includes alerts which can be customised, allowing users to configure the information they want to receive.
