Around 530 exchange-traded funds (ETFs) are now members of the various Investment Association fund sectors, in a move that allows investors to compare ETFs from some of the country’s largest provided with active open-ended funds.

Jonathan Lipkin, director for policy, strategy and research at the Investment Association, said: “ETFs are a rapidly growing part of the UK fund market.

“Their inclusion in the IA sector framework recognises this, helping savers and their advisers to make comparisons and choose funds to meet their long-term financial goals.”

Below, Trustnet shows every ETF that has been added to an Investment Association fund sector, along with their total returns over one, three, five and 10 years.
