Fidelity adds US growth strategy to ETF line-up

Fidelity International has launched a new US large-cap growth strategy within its Fundamental Equity exchange-traded fund (ETF) range to meet growing client demand for active ETFs across Europe.

The Fidelity US Fundamental Large Cap Growth UCITS ETF aims to offer investors access to the asset manager’s highest-conviction ideas in the US large-cap growth universe, blending bottom-up research and active management with a systematic process.

It will be listed on the London Stock Exchange from Thursday 17 September.

The new ETF is sub-advised by the US-based Fidelity Investments while made available to Fidelity International clients through its Irish UCITS platform.

Fidelity International said Europe’s active ETF market has expanded rapidly over the past three years, with cumulative assets reaching $142.6bn at the end of August 2026 – almost quadrupling 2023 numbers.

However, this only equates to 3.8% of total European ETF assets, compared with 12.8% in the US, with the asset manager arguing there is therefore room for further adoption.

Neil Davies, head of ETF product and capital markets for Europe and Asia Pacific at Fidelity International, said: “Our focus is on capturing that growth by bringing the best of Fidelity’s capabilities to our clients through new and differentiated ETFs. The launch of the Fidelity US Fundamental Large Cap Growth ETF builds on the strong client response to our Fundamental Equity ETF range and is another step in broadening our active ETF offering to meet evolving client needs.”

The Fundamental Equity ETF range was first introduced in September 2025 via the launch of Fidelity US Fundamental Large Cap Core UCITS ETF and Fidelity US Fundamental Small-Mid Cap UCITS ETF.
